YCM Zero Emission

Fully accessible to the Public, Monaco Solar & Energy Boat Challenge has some excitement available both onshore and at sea.

Paddocks & Marina

Each team is allocated a dedicated space in the paddock area which is accessible and open to the public. Come and discover what these young engineers are achieving in this lively competitive ambiance.

The YCM Marina welcomes zero emission boats for the duration of the Challenge. The boats will be moored on Quai Louis II in front of the Yacht Club de Monaco.

O emission support boats will be at the heart of race organisation.  From the Race Committee to security at sea only electric and/or solar boats will be used.

The Yacht Club de Monaco’s Clubhouse and sports facilities conform to SMEG’s EGEO contract, which guarantees electricity is supplied from renewable sources. The Yacht Club de Monaco is ISO 14001 certified.

Viewing Area

A dedicated race viewing area will be set aside on the main harbour wall (“the digue”) opposite the YCM, accessible by a public electric “Bateau Bus” (boat bus) service across the harbour.
